Reem, a determined Islamic Studies student, had her dreams put on hold in 2012 when the war forced her to drop out of school after her brothers joined the revolution. Despite the hardships, Reem never gave up on her dream. Today, she is fighting to reclaim her future, but she faces overwhelming challenges. Living with her aunt and grandmother — along with 20 others including orphans and students — Reem endures extremely difficult conditions. Her father, sick and unable to support her from Lebanon, and her hardworking aunt, who sews to support them all, are doing their best, but it's not enough. In addition to financial hardship, Reem suffers from a growth deficiency, making her journey even harder.
